F O R Ç A - P O S I T I V A - P O S I T I V E - E N E R G YTHE FORÇA POSITIVA BOXING CAMPAIGNTHE FIGHTER.
Ting Ting! 22 oficial fights registered by the CBB, (Brazilian Boxing Confederation,) and a further 20 non registered in numerous back steeet attractions around Latin America - in the left hand corner, ready to make the most astounding come back in boxing history, please raise a round of applause to Emanoel Davi.
Of his total of 42 fights, that signify Davi should be in the middle of his boxing career and at the peak of his powers, Davi has lost 6, has 1 win on points, and and amazing 35 knock out vicitories.
Emanoel Davi was the unbeaten rising star between 1994 - 2005. He was Brazils raging bull stampeding into boxing history... What is more, the losses are all against strong opponents: Rapadura in Sao Paulo, (brazilian champ on points, 2005) Soria in Rio, (uruguay top ranking, 2004,) the algerian Rhashid Kamhfoa in Paris, (2006.) - the rest were defeats at the beginning of his career when he was 19 years old and fought without any orientation from a trainer.
In fact, Davi has always worked without a trainer.
All be it Emanoel has followed a light decline over the past three years, he is still currently the state super middle weight title holder for Rio de Janeiro, he is still 2nd in the Brazilian boxing ranking, and 265th in the world (WBO.)
Emanoel Davi's unusually strong punch has become renowned, so much so, that no one has challenged him for the Rio title in 8 years, after having knocked out the then title holder Jim Kelly (2000.) He is, at 32 years of age, still world title potential, - so, if he is so good, - Why the campaign? Why the fund raising ? What happened?
- I came as far as I could on my own. Now I need someone to help me through... - Emanoel Davi.Fact: Boxing in Brazil has no money. Popó, former Brazilian world champion suffered the same situation before someone picked him up. There is more money in MMA - of which Emanoel Davi has also become a serious contender, as he is defeating in informal sparring sessions, the national top athletes who train with the internationally famous Minotauro. (Emanoel has defeated Minotauro himself, Minotouro,Ze Mario Sparring - all top of their leagues in MMA.) The money is in bigger latin american fights, and in Europe and in Japan, with contracts registered up to 12 million dollars per year. The potential the athelete has to both be successful and make money is massive: Emanoel Davi just needs what any boxer needs - a basic wage, a legal representative and an events promoter to defend his interests, and his investers interests. This is what this campaign, for a very small amount of risk investment, intends to do.
The Financial ScenarioInternational Boxing circuit - the hioghest paid sport on the planet. Top fights earn more than formula 1. Meanwhile, an average money prize for the Brazilian national championships go for 30 thousand dollars, Latin American 50 thousand dollars, whilst a world title fight 250 thousand upwards. MMA's profile is even better, something that Davi is prooving himself as a serious contender and whose circuit he intends to break into also. A top brazilian national fight earns the fighter 50 thousand dollars upwards, Latin American - 50 thousand dollars, and abroad, in Japan and USA and now Europe, the contract per fight is around 1 million dolars per fight.
Just at the moment Davi was about to take off and enter the bigger circuit, he got tired of not being able to pay his bills, fight without food, without a trainer, without a legal rep, without any backing of any kind and demoralised... this campaign will pick him up and try and make history.
The life StoryAmazonian blood, brought up around the country from very humble origins, he ran the distance of building a boxing career alone, off his own bat, coming by bus from Vitoria where he met his wife, to go to Rio and make his fortune. In the beginning he slept on boxing ring floors in clubs inside favelas, fought in informal fights arranged by drugs trafickers, worked as a security guard to scrape a living, fighting without a proper diet, sometimes without any diet, fighting and winning, telling his wife things were going fine, and going on, going on as far as he could. But even when a series of victories and a state title didn't get him out of poverty, Davi began to feel that his duty was to support his family financially, and in 2006, he began to reduce his training in order to work.
Married now for ten years, 2006 also marked a turning point where Emanoel Davi decided to prepare for a family: his wife is now due to give birth in 2 months. The struggle to win became tinted with a change of priorities - Go for victory or pay the bills? - this crucible lead him to work nights in clubs and bars, body guard politicians 18 hour shifts, and as we know how boxing is the most demanding physical sport on the planet, both his mental and physical form began to slip - and so the losses began...
THE CONSORTIUM.Investers of the consortium have already committed to 40% of a one year renewable contract that intends to put Emanoel Davi back into regular training and push him to his maximum potential across his remaining five years of career potential. The consortium believes that this unique athlete, with rare qualities that make him an unusual and powerful talent, will see both their money back as well as making an interesting part of sports history, and also have the satisfaction of seeing someone go to the limits of their potential and overcome their unforgiving circumstances.
Now versatile in boxing and MMA, Emanoel Davi is determined to carry off a two year campaign to dominate Latin America and target the international circuit. Pay back and make money for his investors - and, gun for championship.
THE TIME LINE.Year one objectives:
- 3 months of returning to total fitness and the regaining of the characteristics of 'a dangerous person.' The campaign has secured a nutritionalist, a trainer and a sports gear sponsor.

- Dispute Brazilian national title. (televised.)

- Dispute Latin American Title
- Dispute a serious International fight.
- Dispute a serious Vale Tudo fight in Japan
- One other opportunity that will appear.
THE TERMS.
- The contract will be drafted by the reputable sports law firm CARNEIRO ADVOGACIA LTDA. who also run contracts for many major Braizlian international footballers, such as .....TBD
- Investers make a commitment of monthly instalments of 50-100ukp per month for 12 months payable in brazil or the UK. (bank wire charges if necessary payable by invester.)
- 100% of all profits from all pro frights will be paid back pro rata and in parri passu, to all investers to the level of the maximum of their twelve month investment.
- Profits beyond the level of 100% of reimbursement will be made available dividing pro rata between all investers, from a total of 33% of total profits from fights. 17% is divided between legal rep and admin crew. 50% goes to the fighter himself.
This signifies, as far as Emanoel Davi is concerned an upgrade of 43% of what the unforgiving and cut throat industry has offered him in the past. Emanoel Davi will be motivated financially, as well as emotionally, having known what it is to be rock bottom and needing to make the most of the high point of his physical power and experience in his career.
- Proceeds from events, publicity and sponsorship are allocated to our events promoter, XXXXXX, who will be regaining his investment into event creation and promotion.
- Year two will involve the same level of cost all be it the returns are expected to be higher.
THE COST BREAKDOWN.
To run Emanoel Davi's salary, trainer and sparring partners costs an investment of 3000R$ per month, which at today's exchange rate amounts to 1000ukp per month. This low amount of risk investment is enough to give Emanoel Davi, a brazilian fighter who has never has a single cent of investment to date, the turbine he needs... in the climate of Brazilian social conditions, where the fight to survive, to sustain a dream, to put a meal on the table is already an olympic task, this small amount goes a very very long way...
With this grant, Emanoel Davi will be contractually bound and will honour his commitment to 6 hours training per day, 6 days a week.
